    Default Dive Instructor

I understand that non-Bahamians can't work in the Bahamas unless they have a skill that is needed. Dive instructors wouldn't be one of those would they? I was just wondering if there is a possibility for receiving a work permit for qualified dive instructors. My wife is a copyeditor and can work anywhere, and I am looking to move somewhere that I can work full-time rather than part-time as an instructor. Thanks.

Bahamian Dive instructors are a dime a dozen in the bahamas. (plenty of them out of work since there are limited dive shops)

It's one of the many jobs that foreigners are not allowed to hold..(unless you invest in a business here).

Try Puerto Rico or the US Virgin Island. No work permit or visa required.
