Weather Christmas week?

My family and I are visiting the Bahamas for the first time and will be going there for 5 days during Christmas week. We will be staying at the Sheraton at Lucaya. (We tried to get into the Westin, but only smoking rooms were available.) It will be my husband, myself, and our 2 daughters ages 17 and 13. We love the beach and are hoping it wil be warm enough to enjoy. Any suggestions for fun would be appreciated.

8) It Most likley will be pure sunshine during your week,(if there are any light rain showers, it still will be warm enough for bathing suits). The Sheraton is right next to the Westin. You will be quite happy and comfortable. It is easy to wander between the two hotels, and their pools... In terms of what to do while on GB. You should get a copy of the book "Everything You Need To Know Grand Bahama Island". It will definitely help you plan an amazing fun filled vacation. You can find it on amazon.com. :wink:

Weather was great this Christmas -- slightly cool at night -- though it is cold (for the Bahamas) here now -- though I got sunburn this weekend at the beach. I went in the water and it felt like California water in the summer (whcih is sort of cold).
