My husband has a work visa and we are thinking that I will join him. I do not have a work visa. I have read that you cannot be in the country when you are "offered" a job and the visa process is able to start. Is this true? I would like to work, and obviously I would like to join my husband as soon as possible. Do I wait until I have a job offer and a visa???? If no one can answer this clearly, please direct me to the correct agency (with a local number in Nassau, please!) to contact for the answer.
