Getting to freeport from ft lauderdale

Hey..
I'm in fort lauderdale and am looking for a cheap way to get to freeport, i know there used to be a water taxi but can't seem to locate them..anyone know on cheap transportation from here to there?

the "water taxi" you're talking about must have been the CAT which has not come back into service yet.
