    Default Island Laws?

Me and two friends are looking to possibly go live on a small island in the bahamas this summer, cast-away style. If anybody has information on a small island where we can go, or just any info on this at all it would help. Im not sure if its possible to goto a island and live on it, or do we need to purchase it?

    You'd be trespassing..
All islands are either privately or government owned.
Camping is illegal in the bahamas.. unless you have permission from the owners or own the property..
I think you can pick up a small island or cay for about $400,000 or so..

Besides, it's not always as safe as you may think.. alot of these islands are still used to smuggle drugs etc..
Something you Don't want to find yourself in the midst of..

and beware of beach2212 alias Harald ... who tries to pull the accidental tourist down into his private hell and, who knows, might hit someone with his picket sign when they walk down to the beach ... to demonstrate how dangerous the Bahamas are ...
