My fiance and I want to get married at Our Lucaya on Grand Bahama Island, and were wanting to get married in February on the beach. Is it too cold to get married on the beach there in February? Is it too cold to swim in the Caribbean?

Hi SarahChrissy,
It's beautiful in February. I think it's the month least likely
for rain as well. The sun is usually out and shining during
the day and in the evening it gets really cool. I think 70s
daytime and 50/60s at night.
The water is colder than usual for us locals (definitely too
cold for me), but people from cold climates don't seem to
have a problem with the water temperature. It should be
a good time to get married on the beach. I'm not so sure
about swimming.
Congratulations on your wedding,
Daneen.
I have been there in November, and it was a little chilly. I would wait until May or go a little further south of Nassau for a February wedding.
It will be chilly in general, see the average weather numbers here:

February tends to be more chilly then January or December. Though it gets really warm in March.
