    Default To sue a Bahamas registered company.. how?

    Hi..
    I was cheated and conned by a company which is registered, I want to sue them, I need help to find someone who can give me directions to sue and file law suit against this company and have them to pay us our losses.

    Good Luck ! You'll be old and gray before any action will be resolved.

    People wait a decade or more just to have their cases come to court. then they are delayed, noone shows up, lawyers renege, you name it.

    The legal system sucks.

    I suggest you search for a good and upstanding lawyer.
    The legal system, like most things in The Bahamas, is
    slower than in most nations, but with a good lawyer on
    your side, you should be able to get to the bottom of
    your issue.

    Getting your cases heard and the court issuing a ruling
    isn't usually the problem. If you're dealing with a company
    that conned you once, chances are, they'll try to con you
    again. So even if an order is issued by the court for
    payment, a company like this would try to avoid being
    held to the order. I suspect you'd have a greater problem
    collecting what's due you than winning the case.

    You'll need a good lawyer, patience and some time.
