need info

We will be going to freeport in Feb. (xanadu beach resort) and would like all and any information that you have....how is the hotel...what should we do whiel there...good places to eat....how far is the casino.....how far to shopping and shark feedings....our first trip to the carribean period so we want to be fully informed. Anything would be helpful. Thanks

Hi Crystal,I think I sent you an e-mail return for info you asked for,Is this a time share or spring break your on?The Xanadu Hotel ,well it has seen its better days when it was the in spot on the island for all the jet set,late 60's seen Howard Hughes purchase the resort and prior to his death all most purchase the Whole island after Vegas /Nevada would not stop nuclear test's,but well he died and things got old,and in the need of a major cash flow,the resort has a new owner as of several years back, but some major work has been done around the pool deck area suites,Real nice! the towers seems to be slow on getting done this goes back years and years!
The resort ha been sold to/for spring breakers/groups,and dive packages,they do run a great dive outfit out of the resort,and its on the RCI time share deal,there are several rooms may be more that have been updated in the Tower section but not many as my last walk thru!
