Internet Access in the bahamas

I am very curious about starting an internet service bussiness in the bahamas. Im curious if anyone has any info pertaining to this. As far as if there are internet service places and how to buy store locations. I can be reached through email at Norwood90@aol.com.

Internet access is controlled by the government owned BATELCO. (Cable Bahamas) It's unlikely you can just start your own business without a bahamian partner. I believe any foreign owned investment must be 51 percent owned by a bahamian.

It's not like you can just open a store front and put out a shingle.

certain situations. In the case of Atlantis, they were an
exception because of the massive contribution the business
makes to the tourist industry.

Unless special arrangements are made, you would have to

company) has more internet business than the government-
