our lucaya questions

Leaving for the Sheraton at Our Lucaya this Fri 7/25 - have info on taxi rates to / from airport. Does anyone have info on taxi's to the nearest casino? and to the international market? I doubt that the hotel has a shuttle service. Has anyone stayed at this resort recently? And is the water too rough right now for snorkeling?

Rest suggestions too?

Hi Rates are set on cabs ask!! should be about $14.00,We rent a car but they do have Jittneys or Mini van buses that run to Freeport near cassino to Por Lucaya near Our Lucaya resort till 7:00 p.m. this is the best bet! The resort did have a free shuttle to the cassino but may of droped it do to theirs may open,dont count on it!!! it has been years opening.
The water is great on the beach to swim but no reef and so not any thing to see-get to Paradise Cove /Dead Mans reef they run a great trip and have all the stuff and train you not to hurt the LIVE REEF they are on!!!! it is so cool!
they pick up and drop off with the package.
