Nude Beaches in the Abacos??

We'll be bareboat chartering in the Abacos and sailing with a wholesome nudist crew (not swingers!). We'll be working on our all-over tans while out sailing... but is there any problem going nude on secluded beaches???... Are there any recognized or popular nude beaches in the Abacos. Thanks for any info... this is our first charter in the Bahamas.

Public nudity is ILLEGAL in the bahamas. The culture is very christian and offended easily. Your crew may even be asked to cover up in the harbor.
That being said, if you can find a deserted beach, and noone is around to see you, they go for it.

Did you check with BASRA or the harbour patrol if you will be able to sail nude in the harbours limits? You likely will not be able to sail au natural anywhere where other boaters are moored or near any public marinas etc. You may want to rethink your destination to a more open minded island cluster. Those who are under british flags do not take kindly to public nudity. Even topless is not allowed in the harbours or within site of other boaters/tourist/locals.
You're carefree cruise may not be what you signed on for.

Thanks for the comments. We don't intend or desire to go nude in the harbors or near other folks or boaters who might be offended or embarassed. Sailing away from land or on secluded or nearly deserted beaches is where we enjoy working to avoid tan lines. We've always found lots of opportunities and places for nude sailing, snorkeling and sunbathing where we can still respect the locals and not be exibitionists. *s*
