Hey! If I move to the Bahamas in 2004, will I have my own house? Are the houses there alot of money? And what kind of work will I have to do? Thank you!

If you have plenty of money, you can buy your own house. Jobs are not available to non-bahamians unless you are a doctor/nurse or accredtited teacher who is offered a job and sponsored. (work permits cost thousands of dollars a year and must be sponsored by your employer)
Even as a property owner, that does NOT entitle you to a job. You will have to show financial independence in order to live here.

You can, of course, buy a house and use it as a vacation home.

Sorry but you cant work in the Bahamas. The Bahamaian Gov will not give you a work permit unless you can show that you have a skill that a Bahamian dosn't have. I own a house in Eleuthera and it is not cheap to live there. So if you plan on going, bring lots of money and plan on having a lot of spare time on your hands.
