It doesn't matter where you get married, US or Bahamas, but you will not automatically be given bahamian Status. There is a ton of paperwork, and you will have to prove that you did not get married just to live in the bahamas.(just like in the states). You will also need to have a clean police record.
Women are more likely to be given statust than men.
Contact bahamas immigration to start this process, even before you intend to move back.
As for your kids. They will not be given automatic status, but may be considered. You will have to apply seperately for them. Depends on age, dependency etc.
You should consult the proper authorities.
