    Default Andros

    Hi Anna:
I returned from Andros a few weeks ago, staying with friends while there. Since I am very familiar with Eleuthera I was very excited to see another of the beautiful out-islands. I only saw Small Hope Bay Lodge from a distance but understand it is quite nice. Andros has many Blue Holes which are a must see/swim. The beaches are beautiful and deserted. The island is covered with native pine which grows soldier straight and I found it interesting that Eleuthera has none of this type of tree. The people are great and if you get the chance, stop in at Hanks for a drink in FreshCreek!
Good Luck and have a great vacation/honeymoon!

    Default Eleuthera

We are thinking of going in September and staying at a freinds ocenfront house. My wife and I have two boys ages 8 and 4. We are looking for a quiet place where the boys can fish/swim and snorkel. Would you recommend this?

Default Small Hope Bay Lodge, Fresh Creek, Andros Island for Matt

Hi Matt and everyone out there. The place I will be staying is the Small Hope Bay Lodge in Fresh Creek. They have a kids room, babysitting and activities for kids. Also, they have mostly free classes for the kids to learn how to snorkel and even scuba dive. The Andros Island has the third largest Barrier Reef in the world and I hear its very exciting and beautiful. Also the place offers all inclusive deals for families with all meals and bar drinks included. Anyways, check out their imformative web site, do a search on their name. P.S. We are getting married there and they are arranging everything, but they also do renewels too.

    Default Small Hope

Small Hope Bay Lodge is a great place for a wedding. I saw one on my last trip there and it was beautiful. The bride and groom were very relaxed and they and their guests had a great time. Make sure to take their Discover Scuba course and visit the Androsia Batik Factory in Fresh Creek.

Small Hope is also good for families as it has 4 family cabins out of its 20 cottages that have 2 bedrooms that share one bath. It also has complimentary babysitting during dinner so that the adults get some adult time and the kids can be kids. Their environment is also very safe and the North Beach is great for swimming/snorkeling.

Check out www.smallhope.com for more info ...
