    Default generational land

hi, I live in brooklyn, n.y., my father is bahamian and ive acquired approximately 7 acres of land in both long island and cat island. I really do not know much about generational land and im hoping to be able to sell a portion of this land. Does anyone know anything about selling generational land. Thank you.

'Generational land' is not property but is passed on from 'generation to generation.' You can use and develop it, but not sell it to a private owner.

Can "Generational Land" be leased to a individual and/or commercial entity for the purpose of development?

Yes, I think it can though there are limits. I would consult a lawyer.
