Can anyone help with the following information.

My wife and I are planning to move and retire to Long Island.

We are looking at land etc and have looked at potential prefabricated homes from USA (Deltec in particular) to put on the plot. We have read that presently on this Island there are tax incentives for house building etc. ie normal import duties waived.
Does anybody know if this waived tax is applicable on this type of home coming to the island?

Hope somebody can advise as the move potentially relies upon the right answers.
